i have a problem, there is no Windows Media Player to check or uncheck in TOolbars

I have and always have had WMP selected in toolbars, but since I decided to select Links in the toolbars pop up, WMP no longer minimizes to mini mode. I have deselected Links but to no avail, it just minimizes like any other page, mini player will not come back…!!!!
