My name is Tom.

I’m a Systems Engineer at a company of around 4,000 in the Metro Detroit area. I’ve been working at the company for about 3.5 years (it shall continue to remain nameless). I graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science where completed a double major in Computer Science and Information Technology. At CMU I was employed by the College of Business Technology Services, and before that I was at CompUSA for a year and some summers. Ok, enough background job stuff.

I particularly enjoy scripting, especially Windows PowerShell. If it’ll save me 5 minutes a day, it gets scripted. You’ll see a lot of Windows Server 2003/2008, AD, PowerShell, BizTalk, and C# articles here. I’m in no way a C# or .NET expert, however. I also use Vista’s Media Center quite a bit, game a lot, and take interest in other “home” technolithical activies…so some articles about that stuff might pop up as well.
