If you’re getting the 503 error with the application pools shutting down after a series a failure, you’re missing something vital for IIS to run. It’s not necessarily an issue with the configuration export/import

There needs to be a prerequiste to this how-to. The first should be to build a site out manually and verify it’s working before importing the config else you maybe stuck with a configuration you enabled that’s may not even be available.

In my case it was as simple as .net and asp roles were not installed.

This shortcut for import-export works great. I was wondering if one could just copy the files from the root conifg working server to new server but apparently you can’t b/c of the encryption keys.

I have spent the good part of four or five grueling hours trying to get this dumb wireless card to work with Vista 64 bit. I used the icrontic.com link above and when I had the zipped files, I put them in a folder I could access with the “Have Disk” button and loaded the file with the instructions provided in the icrontic.com link. After doing that,I no longer had any problems with the Code 10 issue and everything works flawlessly now. The original fix didn’t work for me, but reading the comments finally resolved my issue. Thanks!
